Gambling is entertainment, not income
Over time the casino wins; that is how it stays open. Think of your bankroll as a ticket, not an investment. Chasing losses is the fastest way into trouble. When it stops being fun, it is time to leave.
Limits and self-exclusion
Limits on deposits and time are available in the cabinet. A cooling-off period blocks the account for a few days or weeks. A long-term self-exclusion is also possible. Ask the help desk to switch them on.
Red flags
Spending more than planned, hiding play from family, borrowing to deposit: these are classic signs. Do not wait for it to get worse. Help works.
Helplines
International resources include GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous and BeGambleAware. Many countries run a national gambling helpline. Blocking software such as BetBlocker or Gamban can lock gambling sites on your devices.
Under-18s
Gambling is for adults only. Log out on shared computers. Use filtering tools at home. The operator asks for ID before the first withdrawal.
